2002 - 2009 Issues
These 2,000- and 10,000-franc notes are like the preceding issues, but with the new name of the issuer. The 1,000- and 5,000-franc notes are entirely new designs. Curiously, the 1,000-franc note does not follow the French-style numbering system used by all other Djiboutian notes, perhaps indicating it was produced by a different printer.
