General information: On 24 April 2012, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issued these Series 7 banknotes with tactile features in an effort to provide notes which are easier for blind and visually impaired persons to use. The raised tactile characters on the upgraded notes feature a cricket theme in the form of stumps, bails, and balls. These characters have been added to the 10-, 20-, 50-, and 100-dollar notes. All the other features of the notes, including the watermark of Queen Elizabeth II, the security features and the images, remained the same as preceding issues until 10 April 2015, when Series 8 notes were introduced with 3-mm wide color-shifting StarChrome windowed security threads.
