General information: In 1995, the first 200-vatu denomination was issued as an undated note, printed by Thomas De La Rue (with vertical imprint along front left).
The signatures differ from those on the 1993 notes.
This is the first note to feature a vertical novel serial number at right in addition to the traditional horizontal number at left center.
In addition to the security features of the 1982 series, the new note featured microprinting of BANQUE DE RESERVE DE VANUATU (without spaces) repeated along the bottom front, a spiral registration device, and the denomination, arms, and serial numbers printed in ink that fluoresces green under ultraviolet (UV) light.
