1967 (1979) Third Series Issues
The third series was issued on 30 March 1979 (to mark Freedom Day, when NATO/British forces left the island), maintaining the same denominations as the preceding issues, but with new designs. Three years after its introduction, the original design was slightly modified with the addition of intaglio dots in the upper right front to assist the visually impaired in distinguishing between denominations.
