These notes are like preceding issues, but they have Omron rings added on both sides, and all but the 50-krone note have holographic stripes at right front and the year appears as the last four digits of the number at lower right front. Furthermore, the orientation of the demetalized text on the security threads has changed from vertical to
horizontal. Since the June 2007 closure of Norges Bank’s Printing Works, Norway’s notes have been produced by commercial security printers in France (Oberthur Technologies) and the UK (De La Rue), and differ from preceding issues in that they bear serial number prefixes.
