These 2 and 5 kina notes are like the same denominations of the preceding issues, but with slightly lighter design elements (most noticeable in the shading around the bird on front) and serial numbers with darker and thicker type faces. The 10 kina note has a new design on the front; the 20 kina note has subtile changes to the underprint pattern; and the 50 kina denomination is entirely new.
