Grade: Unc/au - Sig. 24: Vergara/Castaño/Burgos. 
Obverse
Violet print; reddish brown and green underprint; red serial number.
Prado Museum at lower left and center. Bust of Spanish painter Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez (1599-1660) front-facing at right. Geometric designs.
Reverse - Blue print; red serial number.
Painting "La rendición de Breda" (The Surrender of Breda) by Velázquez. The event took place on June 2, 1625, when the Dutch governor, Justin of Nassau, delivered the keys of the city, symbolically, to Ambrosio de Spinola, the Spanish commander. This happened in fact three days after the city was taken. In 1639, shortly after the canvas was painted, Spain lost the city forever; it was conquered by Frederick Henry of Orange.
