1992 Issues - On 1 March 1992, Bosnia and Herzegovina declared its independence (for later issues, see Bosnia and Herzegovina), leaving Serbia and Montenegro to form the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In 2003, this was renamed the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, which was dissolved into its two constituent republics in 2006. From 1992 to 2003, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia continued to issue notes as Jugoslavija.
On 1 July 1992, the dinar was revalued for the third time, at a rate of 10:1, though hyperinflation would soon force another revaluation the following year.
These notes are like the preceding issues, but with new color schemes and the National Bank of Yugoslavia bank seal at center front. The larger denominations reuse the designs of earlier lower denominations while retaining their smaller size
